“WiFi connected, but no internet” means that your phone is connected to a WiFi network but cannot access the internet through that network. This can happen for several reasons, such as a problem with the WiFi network, a problem with your phone’s settings, or a problem with your internet service provider.

How to FIX WiFi Connected No Internet Access

Below, I will list all the tricks that can solve this problem as fast as you scroll.

1. If other devices can’t connect to the WiFi, the problem is with the WiFi

Check if other devices can connect if you have trouble connecting to a WiFi network. If they can, then the problem is most likely with your device.

However, if other devices cannot connect to the network, the problem is with the WiFi network itself. In this case, you may need to reset your router or contact your internet service provider for assistance.

2. Forget the Connection and reconnect

Generally, when you find yourself in scenarios like this, we restart the thighs and your internet connection with WiFi. Firstly, you must reset the WiFi connection and reconnect with it.

This mostly solves the problem. It is like a quick WiFi restart.

  2. Tap and hold the name of the WiFi network you’re connected to.
  3. Tap Forget network.
  4. Tap the name of the WiFi network again to connect.

2.1: Do the Same from the Router or Hotspot

As you have reconnected with WiFi, restart your WiFi router or toggle hotspot if you’re using a phone hotspot to access the internet.

To restart your router and mobile Hotspot, follow these steps:

  1. Unplug your router from the power outlet.
  2. Wait for 30 seconds.
  3. Plug your router back into the power outlet.
  4. Wait for your router to turn on and connect to the internet.

Resetting the network settings can be helpful when you have no internet access but are connected to WiFi.

So, What happens when you reset the network? Does it delete any data?

Resetting network settings can help with WiFi connection but no internet access by clearing all the saved WiFi networks, passwords, and APN settings. This can help to resolve any issues that may be causing the problem.

To reset network settings on an Android phone, follow these steps:

And we never thought how helpful it could be: so when you are not able to access your WiFi even when it’s connected, then obviously you have to change it, and you only need to change it when you have followed all the above fixes, but nothing works for you then this would work.

Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Open the WiFi panel.
  2. Tap on the settings icon next to the connected WiFi.
  3. Tap on IP to Static.
  4. Then, in DNS2, Enter the following DNS: 8.8.4.4

The reset button is usually a small, round button recessed into the router. Once you have found the reset button, hold it for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, release the button and wait for the router to power back on.

Once the router has powered back on, it will be reset to its factory settings. You must reconfigure your network settings, such as your WiFi name and password.

6. Contact your internet service provider for help.

If you are having trouble with your internet connection, you should first contact your internet service provider (ISP). They can help you troubleshoot the issue and determine if it is something they can fix on their end or if it is a problem with your equipment.

If the problem is with your equipment, they may be able to send someone out to fix it, or they may give you instructions on how to fix it yourself. If the problem is on their end, they will work to fix it as soon as possible.

Here are some tips for contacting your ISP for help:

  • Have your account information ready, such as your account number and name.
  • Be prepared to describe your problem in as much detail as possible.
  • If you have already tried any troubleshooting steps, mention them to the customer service representative.
  • Be patient, as the customer service representative may take some time to help you.
  • If you still need help after speaking to the customer service representative, you may need to escalate the issue to a supervisor.
